As an Executive Asset Accountant at MBM, Brian is well versed in accounting with over 15 years of experience in financial management.

Brian joined MBM Brisbane in 2019 and has since become an essential part of the national Tax and Asset team. Brian’s professional background encompasses all areas of traditional accounting including fixed asset registers, FBT preparation, BAS lodgment, and reconciliations. He supports MBM’s clients with diverse accounting services such as treasury analysis, budgeting and asset management services – specifically, tax depreciation schedules, the calculation of capital gains tax, replacement cost estimates, and asset lifecycle assessment. 

Brian’s proficiencies inform his extensive sector knowledge with specialisations in the commercial, retail, construction, hospitality, government, and industrial sectors. Brian’s ability to problem-solve and dive deep into the details positions him as a strategically valuable partner on complex and large-scale projects.  

A Member of the CPA Australia, Brian completed a Bachelor of Social Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nottingham in the UK prior to a Master of Commerce at the University of Queensland (UQ).
